No, I'm not a finance whiz. In fact, I'm far from it. I'm what u call 'ignorant' when it comes to investment terms, real finance 'thinking' and what not.

But as you grow older. You're just somehow.. EXPECTED to know all these stuff. If you don't, well.. you're not exactly thinking much about your future. Is it? Am I not?

For starters, it's not really an option to think big about my finances, especially when faced with a small income. It doesn't help either that the only way that it's going 'up' substantially, is if I work somewhere else after my bond.

Well, that's not until another 7 years. Meh.

In the meantime? Just making do with what I(we) have and do some straightforward investment (one that doesn't require thinking, only the act of depositing money). As pathetic as it may sound, that is basically my whole finance drama at the moment. So not amusing.

I just keep thinking.. what if? What if I'm able to work somewhere else. Would it be better?

Major YES. And it's not because I've had greater offers. It's just that where I am, now.. let's just say being 'rich' is just a distant dream...

Sigh.
