Writer

At the age of 9, I started writing short stories. I used to take one of my brother's exercise books (bcause I was too kedekut to use my own!) And fill it up with short stories, of all kinds. I distinctively remember this, because my mom found my completed books and took them away..

She wanted to publish it..

I don't think I ever saw those books again. No, don't go running to the bookstore yet!! I can assure you they're not there! Pfftttt!

And then at the age of 14, after I've experienced one of the painful (to me, at least) 'how-to-break-the-news-of-your-divorce-to-your-child-whom-you've-sent-away-to-boarding-school' and 'oh-btw-we're-both-remarried..with-other-ppl', I vowed to write an autobiography of myself..

Thinking that I was so strong that I've just GOT to put that in writing.. And of course with the confidence that 'of course people will want to read it, my life IS interesting!!'

HA HA HA HA HA (memang takkk laaaaaaaaaaaa)

Cocky much?

At 21, happily married, studying in London with the husband.. All this dreams of wanting to write something came back to me..

Which resulted in a blog, because I was just not bothered to finish the book after 2 chapters.

As the years go by, now I'm ehemmm... 26? Haha, with a child, still (alhamdulillah) happily married, and working.. I look back, and it occurred to me..

I've probably already written some of what I wanted to say here.. In one way or another. My objective of the book back then, is so that I can tell the world how I coped.. How it changed my life.. And how it made me to become what I am today. I'm no professor, no celebrity and certainly not qualified to give away life lessons..

Heck, I'm only 26!

Especially since kadang-kadang grammar also tunggang terbalik like that! But I believe that some things are worth sharing. It might not have an impact to most. But most of the things I learned, even the simplest things like putting on make-up, MIGHT be of beneficial to some ppl. The 'dry' bits about life and how to "get along" with it? Will try to make it interesting..

So why this long post? Yeah, I just want to say that I am thinking about putting more thought in my blog posts from now on..

First course of action, scratch the last post about M&Ms! Hahaha Nah, on second thought.. it IS important! Talk about my derriere? OF COURSE it's important! It leads to talk about... gym??

Ok, work calling now. Later!
