New Addition

This year, it will be 9 years that I have known her.. From the time she got together with the man of her dreams, whom she now calls her husband. The flirting, the 'coupling'.. all the way to the engagement.. and continued on to their wedding.. save for those 3 years we spent studying in different parts of the UK, I think we've been through loads.. together..

Heck, she even 'tiang lampu'ed one of my first few 'meeting' sessions with my now husband!!

She screamed with joy the day I told her I was pregnant.. Umm, literally screamed ok! Kat KLCC kot? Hahaha I was in London.. hence, it needed to be told via telephone. Her number was one of the first I dialed after telling the parental units..

She was even there through the rest of my pregnancy days after I came back from pursuing the BAR. Yolaaaaa, nama pun office se-building.. Memang tak ke mananya..

Needless to say, I got emotional the day she told me they were trying for a baby.. Confirmla control macho! Haha.. till the day she found out she was pregnant.. to the day she gave birth.. The whole day that Saturday I was quite jumpy.. Hanya suamiku melihat sebab takkan depan husband sendiri pun control macho? After all these years, after all that we've been through.. she's now a mother!!!

I am indeed a proud Aunty to Nik Arshad Ariff :) :) :) Even Aaron couldn't help but be curiously intrigued with this boy. I'm sure they'll get along very well! The day I set eyes on Arshad, I told myself "this is it.. a new chapter".. for all of us.. Haha OMG, even writing this I'm getting all teary eyed (slaps self - "Oih!! Get a grip woman!!) It is something to have watched your friend 'grow up' together with you over the years.. from busuk college days.. uni.. marriage.. and now motherhood..

Before I go on being my sappy self, let me just share some pics I recently took of Arshad.. Muka dah berubah since the last time I saw him! Hehe baby mmg macam tu, can't wait to see more 'face changing' pics! it's quite exciting to see a child's face evolve.. Skejap muka mak, skejap muka ayah.. haha masing2 pun boleh claim perasan kejap :P


Dearest Jid, Foy and your new addition, Baby Arshad.. Enjoy parenthood, every step is a joy, a blessing and a lesson in its own way. Embrace it, and most importantly, stick together through it all.. it's an amazing journey :) Welcome to the club yo!
