Signs that my boy mmgggggg dah besar (still in denial)

Scenario #1

(We were on our usual weekend outing, feeding him fried rice.. onto the last few spoonfuls. Had him on my lap because he refused to sit on his own chair - asalkan dia makan eh si kurus ni :P)

Me: Ok Aaron, not long to go now! Sikit jer lagi!

Aaron: (suddenly went from a sitting position to a lying down position on my lap, whilst pretending to close his eyes) Aaron sleeeeppppppppppppppppppppppppp!! (tutup mata kuat2 tutup mulut kuat2)

Yas & I: OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG??!!!!!

*Note: the husband normally does this when he doesn't want to do something, all in good fun. MEMANG ANAK BAPAK BETUL ANAK AKU

Scenario #2

(We were getting ready to go to work. Normally we didn't have to switch on the lights because the night light and the dresser lights are enough. But the dresser light rosak. So we had to switch on the light)

... suddenly ada suara kecil memanggil....

Aaron: Mama, tutup lampu..

Yas & I: What thee??!!!

(Terus he sambung tidur)

Astaga... hahaha he truly has grown up now. Seriously, I'm STILL in denial. All the new 'grown-up' things he's picked up. Still shocks us to no end. EVERY SINGLE TIME
