My Apps?

I myself am always curious to know what apps do other people have on their ipads, iphones, etc2.. I'm sure other people feel the same way, not necessarily about me.. but curious about OTHER people :P

As such, I find it right that I should reveal what apps have I downloaded into MY ipad. I'm not listing them down in order of preference, or time of download. Just based on how I've arranged them in my ipad, or whatever that comes to mind.

1. Blogpress.

Now this is one app which I love! It makes blogging from the ipad MUCH easier! Before, I had to go to this page from safari, sign up etc2.. and was only able to draft a post vide the 'Edit Html' column. Yeah, like I'm going to put in some fancy coding or something. I just want a simple, straight forward and easy to use blogging app..

And this does it well! The drawback however, is the fact that I haven't quite figured out how to include photos from my DROPBOX account. Putting in photos from the 'Photos' album is fine, such a breeze.. But the former? Need to do more research on that.

2. Dropbox

Why would you need a thumbdrive in this day and age? Just simply upload your document into your dropbox account, and then access it anywhere you want! (must HAVE INTERNET connection la, silly!). I have a free account, which only gives me about 2GB of VIRTUAL SPACE. To get 50GB, I need to upgrade my account, and pay $9.99/month. Humm, depending on your usage but I think I'm okay with only having 2GB.

3. Twitterific

Hehe.. Such a must have app nowadays. Yes, as you can see on the right column of this page, I tweet! Most of the people I know tweet as well! What better way to get to know the world than through random ramblings of those around you? You somehow get updates on their life, without even actively talking to them! A bit anti-social huh? But well, it's not like we have all the time in the world to call up everyone we know for updates pun kan! Knowing that they're doing fine is sometimes reassuring.







4. iBook

Ebook people!!!! imagine having the Twilight series with you wherever you go. It wouldn't hurt to be able to read a 500++ page book at work once in a while without LOOKING like you're slacking off eyh? (Not like I do it... yeah, right!)

5. iFitness HD

I'm a self-proclaimed fitness junkie, deal with it.... :P

6. Angry Birds

Okay, this is definitely a MUST HAVE! It's addictive, fun yet sooo simple that EVERYONE can play and appreciate. From a friend's 3 year-old nephew, to my in-laws! Imagine that! I can already see Aaron and his dad fighting over who gets to play Angry Birds next LOL!

Really, games should be like this. You can play this mindlessly, whilst waiting for the rice to cook, the gf to try on that dress or even when you feel that you need a break from work! Tapi serious, bestttttt!!! Yas himself have already khatam'ed all the levels, TWICE!

7. Bloomberg

Yeah yeah, what's all play and no work huh? At least it's easier to FEEL like I know something about the world kan?? hahaha you must really think I'm super poyo right now. Let me assure you then, this is one of the apps that I open first thing in the morning at work okkkk :P Got money moving mehhhhh, have to laaa!

8. Letters A to Z

Hahaha.. This is Aaron's App!!! He lovessssssssssssssss this. The alphabets he touched will be amplified, and then you can hear a soothing 'L... Lion!'.. and then a 'Roaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrr'!!! How nice :) This keeps him entertained during times where I need to focus on something else.

9. Budgets

Yes, I NEED this to keep track of my budget. It's kinda cool because I get to set a budget for each category of expenses at the start of the month, and have all sorts of charts developed automatically! They even have cute icons to symbolize each category.. Comel laaaa.. Compared to your normal excel? :)







10. Games

Apart from Angry Birds, I have all sorts of other games as well? Hanoi, Real Racing HD, Real Solitaire, Sudoku, 10 Pin Lite, Labyrinth Lite, Mahjong Lite, istacked, Touch Hockey, Word Search, TicTacFree etc2... Yeah those with 'Lite' means that the games have a full version that you have to buy? From the list of my games, one can tell that I'm no hardcore gamer. It could seem a bit boring though right? But yeah, I'm a sore loser. I CANNOT lose! So if playing mind games is what it takes to make me feel good about myself, so be it. Haha!

And you'll probably laugh at me, but my most played game of all??

Yesssss.. SCRABBLE!!! I've just recently downloaded it, and I play it like 5-6 times a day? Versus computer la of course :( Lagi geeky kan? hahaha .. but this game keeps me entertained during pumping times

11. Early Edition

This is my first go-to app in the morning! This is an application where you can set all the sites that you read on a daily basis (vide RSS feeds) and have it all in one place. Yes people, no more jumping from one site to another. You can see everything here! The best thing is probably the layout which makes it look like a newspaper???? Cool lagi boleh? Haha it can even take you back to the original site, without having to leave the application, making browsing such a breeze :) Gone are the days where I use to rely on bookmarks, looking at links from various blogs.. etc2



12. Others

Yeah, at first I wanted to list ALL my apps.. but halfway through I realized, Man I have LOADS of apps???? So listing them all here would probably make this entry evennnn longer than it should be. So let me just list down those that come to mind:
