Stayed at Pulai Springs (?) Resort. Took a drive there as there was no wayyyy we'd survive a bus/train trip with Aaron for 4-5 flippin' hours? Sheesh, no thanks. But luckily we took the car lah, easier to move around :)
So we started the trip at about 5.30am Saturday morning (we intend to arrive Legoland BEFORE the gates opened), and we succeeded! Word was, if you come late, ada harapan tak dapat masuk. True enough, some of our 'crew' didn't make it inside on Saturday. The crowd was just, overwhelming to say the least. And it was HOT too! We didn't last long, definitely. Only TWO hours. Believe that???
Scorching hot, dizzy husband and a cranky child, we decided to call it quits and head on over to JPO instead. Well, Aaron was a wee bit too 'short' for most of the rides anyway, so it wasn't all lost. PLUS, we think that they should incorporate the 'universal express' ticketing system, whereby people get to buy and additional ticket, to beat the lines. Optional, of course.
That would (might) have made us stay longer.
The lines for the rides were...... horrendously long! with the heat? Nevermind la, next time come again.
Later that night dinner with the dept. Everyone agreed that for next year, we should go to an enclosed space, or somewhere where we can ACTUALLY spend time together, everyone? Ni, jumpa time makan only. Doesn't really feel like a 'family day' trip lah. But it's all good :)
We went back early Sunday after breakfast so we could reach KL in time for ShaYan's wedding reception (as per earlier post).. the drive back was more, relaxed.
Fuh, typing this already made me tired. Imagine re-living those 2-day packed weekend!
