T'was a good birthday nonetheless, despite being a very trying July thus far. It's the last day of July, so I shall sulk. Yes, I sulk at the end of my birthday month. Every year.
I mengada.
So it began with a lovely surprise from my boys. Apparently a certain 3yo decided that he didn't want to fall asleep even after mummy went to bed at...
10.30pm..
Yeah, I started off 29 by being an old mum who sleeps before 11pm. Quite apt, don't you think? They both sung happy birthday, complete with an ice-cream cake from Haagen Daz to boot. The year he started giving me ice-cream cakes for my birthday, was the year he set the standard. Ever since, I've been getting ice-cream cakes. LOVE!
This is me (if you can't see, I was hiding behind my 3yo because of my messy hair and sleepy face) and the boy who slept at 12.30am! He didn't need to get me a gift ('need' being the operative word, ehem!) because he got me an early present i.e my lovely trusted Mark (Macbook Air) which has been my best friend since I started chambering.
(Not everyone is in the picture. NOTE TO SELF: Need to take more pictures!)
Haha, someone accidentally kantoi'ed himself. I just WA'ed him a picture of the flower, indicating how excited I was...
HAHAHAHA.. so yeah, I did expect another flower delivery later that day. Both are still blooming beautifully in our living room.
Also received lovely gifts from the in-laws. Looking forward to add more charms in the future ;)
Thanks to all for the kind wishes. I do, feel blessed. The 3 of us had dinner at Jake's, Starhill. Although, it was cut short because he had a migraine.
Overall, turning 29 ain't so bad after all.
Yeah, right.
Wait till I turn 30. You'll be reading an entirely different toned post, me thinks. Ok, this now 'matured' 29 year old wishes to continue with her work.
xx
